The "Happy Chinese New Year" Chinese Spring Festival Culture Global Joint Exhibition is hosted by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the PRC, and China Arts, and carefully crafted by the Entertainment Group (founded in 1953, successively managed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and the Propaganda Department of the Central Committee, and is now a unit of the Bauhinia Culture Holdings Limited).

 

During the Chinese New Year every year, it was exhibited at the Empire State Building in New York, USA. After ten years of development, it has become one of the most important Spring Festival celebrations in the United States. Starting in 2022, the "Happy Chinese New Year" exhibition is upgraded to a global joint exhibition, with exhibitions in New York, London, Edinburgh, and cities in mainland China, becoming a landmark event to promote Chinese culture.

The global joint exhibition presents the Chinese culture represented by the Chinese Spring Festival culture, through a variety of art forms with rich auspicious meanings of the zodiac. In 2023, the Year of the Rabbit will be themed "RABBITS IN THE LIVELY SPRING". The "red rabbit", "white rabbit", and "three rabbits share ears", which respectively symbolize "benevolence", "filial piety" and "auspiciousness", will be the main characters. And a large-scale installation will be set up for the exhibition.

The exhibition will start at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre on January 19, 2023 (the twenty-eighth year), and will be held simultaneously with cultural landmarks in world-renowned cities (such as the Empire State Building in New York, etc.). In the form of a Hong Kong-wide touring exhibition, the wonderful Spring Festival culture will be presented to the general public in Hong Kong. And it will make a unique contribution to enhancing the pride of the Chinese nation in Hong Kong society, enhancing Hong Kong's status as a center for cultural exchanges between China and the West, and jointly participating in the construction of a common system of human destiny.
